Over New Year I planned to spend time sitting under a tree decompressing from 2022. I cut it short due to rain. The second attempt in February was washed out... third time lucky? So my 2022 decompression is in March (and credit to stunning Doubtless Bay).

Don't deprioritise time you need for yourself. You will serve others better if you invest in you!

The last thing a creative team will relate to is a boring flipchart list. Lucky I brough Nemo with me to help - my version of the Ishikawa tool (cause and effect diagram) often used in change management, process improvement and strategy work. In typical Nemo style he came through.

Everything I do is tailored to a team's needs in their particular situation. If you would like to know how Nemo (or any of my other friends) can help you, please get in touch.

How would you react if everything you had and knew disappeared overnight?

The grief curve is playing out as stories unfold of those directly impacted by recent weather events here in Aotearoa New Zealand. In time shock, disbelief, tears, blame and anger will be replaced with acceptance, renewal and resilience. ♥

Without casting too much doom and gloom on the situation (I hope) it is a good reminder for all of us to build our resilience - so it's accessible to us when we need it.
