An analogy might help. Imagine your team is a tree.
Successful teams grow like healthy trees. Roots, trunk, branches and canopy play different roles, yet all must work together to meet changing environmental conditions and stakeholder needs.
Teams, like trees, also create their own unique microclimate when they come together. Each tree influences - and is influenced by - everything around it. Beneath the surface are roots, fungi and nutrients. Above the ground, birds, insects, sunlight and rain all play their part.
All while experiencing VUCA* environmental conditions - drought, floods, fire, strong winds, pests and disease, transplanting, and changing needs.
