As the old saying goes “the only certain things in life are death and taxes”. I am sure we can all relate to this right now. 2020 has/is certainly a roller coaster ride and the changes and surprises just keep coming. I am facing my own unexpected personal change right now. The sliver lining is I know what is happening and I know what might bring me and my family some comfort and ability to process. Things like: gratitude, mindfulness, living in the moment, and focusing on what can be controlled. The circle of influence (see below) is a well known tool to help people work through challenges and change.
