It seems every client and team I talk to right now is overwhelmed, close to burnout, tired, stressed. Maybe the weather is contributing (winter in New Zealand) maybe it's the time of year (financial year end for some) or maybe its just six months between Christmases (when most find time for a break).
If you work in the high performance zone a lot you are in danger of overwhelm and burnout. They key is oscillation. Have some rest time. If you can't rest, do some tasks that are a less taxing and you enjoy to get some balance.
