I've been spending some lockdown time on creative activities. Baking (not too much due to side effects), crochet (only need 280 more squares to make a throw), and fabric painting (first time I'm trying this).

Studies show that using your hands and the right side of your brain improves happiness, mood, mental health and brain function (and we could all do with more of that). So whether its gardening, cooking or drawing, step away from the screen and get creative!

If you would like support with building creativity into your life, please get in touch.

If you have a team session with me in the next couple of weeks, expect to play virtual team Bingo! The comparative freedom we have been lucky to experience in New Zealand to date is gone for now, and we have gone virtual. As we know, the virtual world can lack energy, so to liven things up I have created bespoke bingo for each of my teams. Each is a unique game is tailored to the team, the organisation and the development areas we are working on.

If you would like to learn more about tailored team development, get in touch. Definitely no cookie cutters here!

Tough times in Australasia at the moment. Having some structure and reflection in your day will help you and your team get through it. I often give my client the structured journal below (thanks MiGoals). You can use this yourself, and/or try sharing this with your team. Ask them to spend the first few minutes of a team meeting reflecting on what they are grateful for and their priorities, then share with each other. This works really well virtually too. Take care and stay safe.

(If you would like me to send you a bigger version of the journal page that you can see :-) get in touch)
